Pavel Ostrovský has worked for the Police Sports Center since 2011. With Andrej Málek they achieved a great success in August 2016. Andrej became the European champion in the K1 men category under 23 years. Málek will join the training group alongside Beňuš and Škantárs.

He studied psychology at the Comenius University in Bratislava. In the past he was junior and academic representative in downhill skiing, later he worked as a coach. For more twenty years he is leading private psychological practice and his clients include, for example, Olympic champion Elena Kaliská, Slovak golfer Zuzana Kamasová or Boris Novotny, silver medalist at the European Championships in judo.
Michaela Grendelová
She studied journalism and Germanic Languages at Comenius University in Bratislava and the German University in Koblenz. Since 1997, she has worked in several media - newspaper Sport, Radio Expres, Radio Viva (as a program chief editor) and TV Markíza (including web page tvnoviny.sk), she was the chief editor of the magazine Travel In. After 13 years of a journalistic career she accepted the offer to manage communications and media operation of the 2011 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Bratislava and Kosice. Besides promotion and organization of sport events she also focuses on crisis PR and communication of commercial companies.
